i spent my christmas eve making puffs .. cream puffs !! was intending to make matcha cream puffs but i could'nt find any matcha powder despite going to 2 supermarkets! .. in the end, i search around my house and made cocoa cream puff and mint cream puff. i lurve the mint one, my mum too =) i failed in my first attempt! .. i over whipped the cream and it became butter! .. now i believed felicia that over whipping of cream really makes it into butter. so i had to purchase a second pack of cream to remake it ... fortunately it was ok the second trial. i hand whipped the cream! .. gosh, my arms are aching now !! ...   went to west coast plaza yest to get some chocs .. or perhaps alot of chocs !! .. i bought a few lemon and black pepper choc! .. yeshii, its lemon and black pepper!!!! .. hmmm.. zesty lemon feel in the dark chocolate .. and i went over to cold storage and their Andes Mints were on sale! .. damn cheap .. usual $6.35 and it became only $3.10 per packet! .. so i got 2 packets ... happy happy minty christmas with my minty chocs and puffs !!! Merry Christmas to all =) |
