HAPPY VALENTINE DAY!! As all couples out there enjoy their celebration. All singles moaning at home. I spent my boring valentine day with two other poor souls.. rushing out report in the super freaky retro SCIENCE LIBRARY at NUS! After reading tons of journal (seriously, almost 15 journal quoted in reference), typing and editing grammar mistakes for 4 full days (10 hours/ day) .. i produced the report with the conclusion that its worth 6% of my total marks. am i mad ?! Anyway, i recently had this super 'cool attitude' lecturer .. this was what she said in class: "Yes, i'm single. I choose to be because i want my quality of life and freedom. I'm willing to spent $100 on a piece of steak. You girls and boys out there don't follow me, unless you can withstand being lonely and miserable, and can take care of yourself. And remember, there wont be anyone taking care of you when you grow old. Can't stand it?! .. go find your GF/BF. If not, if you choose to be single, do so .. and don't complain!" Perhaps that was the reason why she tortured us this valentine day with the freaking mad report .. but anyways, i admire her. she's cool! =P |
