i drifted off from blogging in my Professional Communication blog, to this less formal blogging .. It seriously made me wonder these days whether FAST FOOD should be still named as that when they can't even live up to their name ?! the two incident i faced really made me have second thoughts in stepping into a 'fast food restaurant' again, unless necessary. I was at XXX (the one attacked by pirates?), queuing for my turn. As i waited for almost 5mins!, the customer in front of me was still not done .. asking freaking lots of Qns. Then, the next thing i knew was the cashier scalded her hand by the coffee machine, and she ran off. Me, being so innocently dumb, continued to stood in the queue, and after another 5mins, the cashier finally came back. She looked at me stunned (perhaps wondering why i was still there?). And when i finally attempted to make my order, she looked at me: "sorry, this counter is closed. Please queue in the other counter?" I turn around and saw at least 5 people queuing in the other counter (there was'nt any at first). WTF, and so i walked off pissed without any food after wasting almost 20mins of my time ?! Then on another day, i went to XXX (the so-called environmental friendly one). Waited for freaking 20 minutes for a burger! .. and its takeaway! maybe its a new outlet? .. but from wad i observed, only 1 pathetic staff busting his ass out there, while the rest seemed lost? .. FAST FOODS should be renamed SLOW FOODS instead. |
