A new pair of Singaporeans girls came. They seem friendly and we seemed to click rather well together. Probably because they are from NUS too? They belong to the super english-ish gang, that refuse to speak chinese, but yet not acting too bimbo-ish? I bet they had culture shock when they first arrived, seeing everyone around them speaking chinese .. haha .... My Job~ It was a crazy weekend, as it was memorial day in USA. I worked from thursday to monday, clocking an average of 15 hrs/ day. Yes, I only slept like 5 hrs, while i spend the remaining 4 hrs eating, travelling, and cooking. By sunday, I was half dead and I did'nt knew what I was saying, I could'nt even count the money properly ... but fortunately, I did'nt give back the wrong change. I wanted an off day on tuesday. But I decided to get in to earn more money while I could, so I went in for work :) Shopping again yesterday. The summer sales are starting, and I got so crazy !!! Bought a couple of tee and dresses. And I even got my third pair of shoes here after arriving for just 1 month ! Bought this super cute mini speakers that came with a tee (a speaker and tee combo) .. which cost me only US$3 !!! Ate at applebees too .. I had always thought that applebees sells only apples ... but the dinner was really great indeed, with 2 for US$20 deals which turn out to be quite cheap actually. Celebrated one of the girl's 21st birthday, and we bought a couple of drinks. Friday tomorrow, and back for a busy work through the whole weekend ......................................... |
