Guess what ?! ... I did spent my birthday working as I mentioned in the previous post ... and crazy USA gave me over a 100 degree Fahrenheit weather to work in. So I was sweating the whole freaking day like mad. It amuses me that the people who were wishing me 'Happy Birthday' were surprisingly the Russians, Bulgarians, and a whole other bunch of Americans whom I had hardly knew. On the other hand, none of my roommates knew about my birthday (eapsically the fellow Singaporeans) except for 1 of the guys who send me a lovely msg :) It was through the Americans that they found out about my birthday and they came over to ask me why I did'nt inform them that it's my birthday?! ... How weird ?! Oh wells, birthdays are just an indication that you are another year older, and it's time to get mature. This year's birthday is a wake up call to me that it's time to get my ass out and hunt for a job !! ... Okay I got it !!!!

Then again, I have been feeling so tired these days. Would you all try all means and ways to suck up to your boss out there and that you get into his good favour ? This was one of my initial reason for being the first to come to America, in order to get into good terms with my boss such that I can have good hours. It was pretty good the first few months ... but now the competition is getting tougher with 4 other girls doing the same stuff. I did all the work I was told to ... and I even took the same off day with my boss to hang around with him just to suck up to him. Right now .... I just so tired of all these shit. Come to think of it, I was pretty stupid huh? I'm no longer going to suck up to him, and I shall just let things work out. It's crazy that the other girls are gonna go New York with him, watch a Yankee match together, go shopping ..... blah blah blah ....... I'm done .... cause I'm are'nt your pet anymore!

Oh, and I officically graduated ... as Bachelors of Applied Science (Food Science and Technology) !!!! Right now as I'm typing this post, I guess all my fellow classmates are in UCC, waiting for their turn to recieve their scroll. My mum asked me in a recent email if I regreted not going for my commencement ... I though about it, and I will still say that I do not regret any of my decisions for coming to USA :)
